I'M NOT SURE I CAN KEEP UP, IS RAILROAD RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely. Speed is relative, every goal matters, and running is about self-improvement. No matter where you are in your running, our process-oriented coach style will help you get where you want to go.
DO YOU COACH REMOTELY OR IN PERSON?
Both! After COVID hit, we had to get creative. Luckily, it turns out that our style of coaching can be just as effective remotely—which is what most of our athletes currently prefer. However, if you want in-person sessions, let us know and we'll make it happen.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
All over! We started in the mountains of north Georgia, but have since coached athletes all the way from Pennsylvania to Colorado and a bunch of places in between. Our current center of gravity is Austin, TX, but no matter where you are located, we can help.
HOW DO YOU SET THE PRICE?
We don't believe standard-cookie cutter plans cut it when it comes to the unique needs of individual athletes. Our price point takes into account a personal relationship with your coach, a weekly call, and allows for constant daytime accessto your coach for all the many questions that come up during training.
I LIKE TO DO ATHLETICÂ ACTIVITIES OTHER THAN RUNNING, IS THAT OK?
Honestly, that's ideal! While runnign is our focus, we are Railroad "ATHLETICS" because running requires athleticism. Most of out athletes do a lot more than just running in their plans, and we love incorporating different fitness goals into our coaching.
DO YOU OFFER TRIAL MEMBERSHIPS?
All our memberships are trials. We don't lock any athletes into a long-term contract. Like our motto, we go one step at a time. Try us out for a month and see if you like it! If not, no sweat!
I WANT TO JOIN, BUT DON'T WANT TO BE POSTED ON THE WEBSITE/INSTAGRAM, IS THAT OK?
100%. We like to brag on our athletes, but our main goal is to help you improve. If you'd rather stay lowkey, let us know!
WHAT DOES YOUR COACHING LOOK LIKE?
We believe coaching should be adapted to the athlete, not the other way around. Most of our athletes opt for a weekly check-in call to go over the previous week and plan the next one. But when things pop up, coach is on the phone ASAP!
